Location - Tucepi & Makarska Riviera

The new, today's Tucepi town is established along the gentle, natural pebbly, four kilometers long beach shore with the beautiful pine alley walk.

Tucepi is a old settlement with a four century long past. On the west it boarders with Makarska as the center of the riviera, while on the north there is a border made by the Biokovo mountain.

Today tourists recognize Tucepi as a very desirable destination on contemporarily itineraries of Croatia and Europe,  being one of  the ecologically cleanest regions of Dalmatia and the Mediterranean.  There is no industry in this region, so the nature has been preserved in the best possible way.

Beautiful clear sea has favorable temperature average higher than 20 C. Sea temperature in the summer period is between 25 to 27 C. Winders are extremely mild and sunny and summers long and hot with refreshing western wind ( maestral). Blowing from the sea, this wind brings natural refreshment so much needed in the summer days. There are also other winds like bura ( northern wind); bringing cold weather, or jugo ( southern wind) bringing moisture from the sea, favored by the water sports ( like sailing, surfing and kiting) admirers.

By the possibilities of enjoying the sun and sea,  there are numerous recreational facilities on Your disposal; from water sports, plays for children to football, tennis and basketball.

Tucepi is an ideal place for sport and recreation owing to its mild climate very suitable for enjoying through all the year.

During the summer season,  various cultural and entertaining, as well as sport and recreational events take place all over the Makarska riviera.

Those are the days of traditional folk festivities when the town's saint patronates and the days of the glorious past are celebrated. Except these celebrations, there are also some others like «Fisherman nights» and some sport shows usually organized and held in ports, on the beaches or on hotel terraces.
